Crumpet Reviews Liquidus Nail Gloss Fall 2013 Collection

Hi Goddesses

So, earlier in the week, I did a skittle with some pretty gorgeous polishes (HERE) and I promised you I would show you them later in all their glory.

Well, here they are, and that brand is Liquidus.  A little bit like Elevation Polish, Danielle takes her inspiration from nature - specifically rocks, gems and minerals.   Not only that, but I have never had a review package arrive that was packed so gorgeously or that came with such a beautiful instruction card.

So, onto the polishes and Arsenic.  This is an amazing one coater, and probably my favourite of the trio.   Some of my favourite polishes at the moment are those with embedded texture (and I don't mean the Liquid Sand texture.)  What I mean is a gorgeous base, infused with flecking to give it a little more complexity, and this is one of those polishes.

This is infused with copper, and it creates a broken-biscuit kind of texture.  Absolutely beautiful.  This is a great Work Wear Wednesday polish, and I know I am going to use it a lot as a nail art base (in fact, it's being used as that right now.)

Blue Diamond Turquoise is gorgeous, but had obviously offended my camera, so I am limiting the photos here.  This is a jelly, and it took 4 coats for opacity - but I can ASSURE you, 4 coats looked opaque, not how these photos appear.

My camera has a really hard time with teals, and this polish is an intense petrol colour.  It is stunning (although I would have preferred it to be more opaque), and I'm pleased it photographed better when paired with Copper.

Copper is just joy in a bottle.  There's something about that colour that just thrills me.  It looks like crushed autumn leaves, and it plays really nicely.

This has small to medium hex glitters and also micro glitters for added shimmer.  It's an awesome bonfire colour - perfect for this time of year.

Overall, I really liked these.  I love the idea of a collection where each polish has a different finish AND they all complement each other.  Application was easy, regardless of how the teal photographed, and I would definitely want more Liquidus in my life.

You can follow on Facebook HERE and shop HERE.  Even better, Danielle has created a Crumpet Discount Code which is valid for the next 10 days.  There are some awesome colours in there, so I urge you to take a look.
