China Glaze - The Prismatics Round Up

Hi Goddesses

So, by now you'll have hopefully seen all 6 posts, heard me bleat about removing glitter and either gone "ooooh" or "naaaaah".   I did intend to do a skittle hand for this post, but I just couldn't take it anymore!!  Sorry.

But they are pretty.   First of all, let's look at the bottle and compare, and then I'll show you photos of each as a reminder.

In order of my favouritism, from l-r - Liquid Crystal, Ray-diant, Prism, Optical Illusion, Polarized and Full Spectrum.

Liquid Crystal (blue), Ray-Diant (gold), Prism (lilac)

and Optical Illusion (green), Polarized (silver) and Full Spectrum (pink)

Ok and now one by one -

And there you have it.  Which one is your favourite ?   Full Spectrum was the winner for me - this blue thing is getting out of hand - but all in all, these are a very very pretty bunch of polishes.  Well done China Glaze!

Enjoy xx :)

China Glaze Prismatics - Ray-diant

Hi Goddesses

So here we are, with the 3rd of the 6 Prismatics.  Ladies, this is Ray-diant, aka the "gold" one.

This is a very subtle champagne gold rather than an out and out gold.  It's a silvery goldy mix rather than a really yellow gold.   This has got the whole rainbow in the bottle going on too, and creates a really dramatic effect.

I don't know about you, but I see an underlying green tone in some of these pictures, giving it a very antiquey sort of feel. This is also the base that has best shown the colours of the glitters - pink, orange, blue, green - everything is in here.

This is 2 coats again, and this time we have a base of CG Pelican Grey on the index finger and OPI Black Onyx on the ring finger.   I am actually really liking it over the black - this would make a fabulous accent nail in any mani.  And thanks to the lights of my local supermarket, I can confirm that this one DOES have a duochrome effect, swishng between gold and green.

And now a forthcoming apology - I am wearying of these glitters.  Not because I don't like them, I dooooo, but because herpes has struck!   To be fair, they weren't majorly hard to remove, but boy were there a million little tinycles of glitter EVERYWHERE.   And do you know what?   They Come Back!  Yes, remove the herpes, blink, and WFT, there they are again!  Lol.  So my currently ability to describe this particular polish is severely weighted by the knowledge I'm going to be taking it off in the next 10 minutes.  Give me strength!

Anyway, thumbs up, enjoy, and see you next time with the silver xxx  :)
