De-Vaulting - Cirque Fascination Street and Cape Liz

Hi Goddesses

Today's jaunt to the vault rescues some Cirque swatches from just over a year ago.

So why did these ones linger?  Well, Cirque is one of those brands I struggle with.  No matter how gorgeous they look on other people, I am just not slam-bammed when *I* wear them.  Maybe it's the indie equivalent of me not liking Essie, I don't know, but I am always slightly disappointed with my Cirques.

Fascination Street though is probably my favourite Cirque - dark purply bruisey mystery, what's not to love?  This one just suffered by comparison to all the other amazing purple holos I own.

Cape Liz I wanted to love, but look how flat it looks on my nail.  It had lovely sparkles, but they were a little shy, and in the end I decided I preferred Stormy Skies by Girly Bits.

Also, this separated dreadfully in the bottle, even though it was brand new.  Sad times, panda, sad times.

Holo on Holo Stamping - Cirque Fascination Street Meets Color Club Over The Moon

Hi Goddesses

Some super sexy holo on holo stamping for you today, made possible by the loveliness that is Dashica plate 18.

The first thing you'll notice is that my camera did not like this challenge one little bit lol.  It's not that the photos are blurred, but I think the camera really struggled to distinguish between the 2 holo polishes.  Needless to say, this wasn't a problem in real life.

On base we have the awesome twilight that is Cirque Fascination Street.  A very dark blurple, this is a soft scattered holo.

On top, we have Color Club Over The Moon, a nice icy blue.  They should play off each other perfectly, and they did ... well, until my camera joined the party.

Quick shout out for this Dashica plate.  It's from a set that was released last year which has been under-used by me.  I was a little underwhelmed once I got it, but ooooh, I do love my circles.

Enjoy xx  :)
