52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge - Teal - Pahlish This Song Is Ending

Hi Goddesses

Firstly, it's great to see so many of you taking part in the 52 Week Challenge, AND loving the laid back nature of it.  It's not too late to join in - just come and find us on Facebook.

The 2nd part of this week's challenge is TEAL, which is why you saw so many people use teal for their gradient (which was the pattern part of the challenge).  I've chosen this stunner from Pahlish.

This Song Is Ending is a great green-based teal with copper shimmer.  My camera hates teals, and as you can see, this one totally blew its mind.  It's really struggling to capture this polish, which was gorgeous in person.  Beautiful thought it is, it has one flaw - it did stain, so be sure to wear good base coat!

I wasn't going to stamp over it, but when I saw the copper, knew that that was what I wanted to add on top, so I picked this anarchic pattern from MoYou Back To The 80s 04.

The copper is Cosmic Fate from Color Club and it's crazy holo-tastic.  I use these holos a lot for stamping, and they never fail to blow me away.

For a bit of definition I decided to also add some skinny tips, and I really like the extra detail this provided.

Autumn Week - Aaaand Sometimes, We Try To Be TOO Clever

Hi Goddesses

Today's mani was going to be sooooo awesome, but the idea just didn't translate onto the nail, so I am fulla sad :(

On base we have the divine Barry M Mocha, rich, chocolatey matte brown goodness.

I then thought it would be a great idea to stamp it in holo, to show the changing seasons, and THEN I had the even cleverer idea to stamp with a peach and a green holo to further depict the colours of autumn.

So I turned to my trusty Color Club holos - Kismet and Cosmic Fate - and striped them over one of my LLC plates, which is full of itty bitty pretty leaves.

And yeah .... can you tell I used 2 colours? Nooooooo.   Does it look like I put extra thought into this?  Nooooooo.  Is it fabulous?   Nah - disappointed :(

Holo Stamping and Cheeky Jumbo Plate 5 Musical

Hi Goddesses

Today's post features the Musical plate from Cheeky aka Jumbo Plate 8.  There are tons of great patterns on this plate, many of which I wouldn't associate with music.

I guess this is the pattern of sound reverb, but I love cos it's loads of circles lol - it looks to me like a giant slinky :)

On base we have Essence Gorgeous Bling Bling, a stunning burnt orange with flakies, and on percussion we have the lovely Color Club holo that is Cosmic Fate.

I tell you what, we are SO lucky these Color Clubs stamp so well - they create amazing art, effortlessly.   If you've always been too scared to stamp with a "normal" polish, start here, you won't go wrong.

Enjoy xx :)
